Jonathan “Jay” Paz is a native to the lively city of Miami, Florida. He is the son of two immigrant parents, descending from Honduras and Peru, and one of three siblings. He watched his mother work hard for the “American Dream” to ensure his siblings and himself were able to have a better life and become successful in the United States.  Through this humble beginning, he was able to be instilled with integrity, respect, and a hard work ethic. The main trait, he learned from his mother and close friends to be an opportunist and take advantage of all opportunities that life presents.

In 2009, the biggest opportunity presented itself and Jonathan answered the call of enlisting into the United States Marine Corps at the age of 17. Staff Sergeant Paz has served for 14 years in the Marine Corps Reserve and is currently serving as the Supply Chief and the Headquarters Staff Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge at 4th Air Naval Gun Liaison Company, located in West Palm Beach. Within his 14 years in the United States Marine Corps, he has accomplished obtaining a Master of Science in Supply Chain and Logistics and multiple awards within his military career.
